I saw this film last night. I have to say it was pretty entertaining. It's a great looking movie if nothing else. The story takes a while to get to the climax, but overall I thought it was worth my 7.50. DeNiro and Norton are good as always and Brando is kind of strange in my opinion. I'm really too young to remember him in his prime, but he looks pretty decrepit these days.

This would be a fine movie to wait for video/DVD on as there are no real "big screen" must-see events. I did enjoy it though nonetheless.
The last decent acting performance by Brando was in the God Father. Since then he and his family have all gone off of the deep end. Why anyone would pay him 3 million for anything is beyond me. If I was the director and he refused to come on the set, he would be replaced.
I liked him in "One-eyed Jacks" which has now become one of my favorite westerns. (He directed and starred in it.)
I thought he was hilarious in that movie with Matthew Broderick, about the endangered animals that were being cooked for those rich people...he was great in that movie.
same old same old - weak plot, stupid people, extremely intelligent raptors (language skills????) if you like watching the supporting cast of actors getting chomped up by the good guys (dinosaurs) well this movie is for you - however, if you are intelligent enough to be conscious, well skip this one - another "hollywood" formula flick. Is sort of like junk food, looks good on the wrapper, but ?? leaves you sorta feeling queasy and empty afterward...

Mac

P.S. oh yea, something that I found a little embarrassing, why did the two black guys get
chomped up first? and later on the spanish/latin guys got chomped - all the white folks of course didn't get eaten - Doesn't hollywood have a clue??? this is the old stereo type that I was hoping died with the 60's and 70's films - maybe I am reading too much into this, but it seems to me that in this day and age, some sensitivity and respect for ?? what? our fellow man? people that dare not "look" like us caucasians?? should prevail - I don't know, something here bothers me...this film treats "non whites" as expendable...I think if I was a "non white" person I would be very pissed at this marginalization of my race.

this film is crap.
