Reality is fractal. It has a pattern with no discernable pattern. The finer you divide it, the more it remains the same.
thank you all for your kind thoughts. Bella was diagnosed with major hip displasia before she was a year old. Vet says she would be feeling arthritic pain with the year. then her knee gave out and needed to be routed out and a sort of fake one fashioned. And the gland would have to be removed on her other eye. Total cost, $6,000 minimum, with no guarantees as to what kind of life she would lead afterwards.

She was the product of bad breeding practices. Found out later that many of her relatives, aunts, cousins, sisters and brothers, have problems, both behaviorally and physically. It's a sad waste of doggy life.

But back home now and pain free.

thanks again for thinking of her, and me.
The Little Black Dog
Elizabeth Gardner Reynolds

I wonder if Christ had a little black dog,
All curly and wooly like mine,
With two silk ears and a nose round and wet,
And two eyes brown and tender that shine;
I'm sure if He had, that little black dog
Knew right from the first He was God,
That he needed no proofs that Christ was divine,
But just worshipped the ground He trod.
I'm afraid that He hadn't, because I have read
How He prayed in the Garden alone,
When all of His friends and disciples had fled,
Even Peter, that one called a stone.
And Oh, I am sure that little black dog
With a true heart so tender and warm
Would never have left Him to suffer alone,
But creeping right under His arm,
Would have licked those dear fingers in agony clasped,
And counting all favours but loss,
When they led Him away, would have trotted behind,
And followed Him quite to the cross.
