Silence of the Lambs was only one film, amongst many, that Hopkins worked on.
The characters he's portrayed over the years were all so very different, very few were nasty characters like Hannibal Lecter. Personally I can't remember any other bad guys except for Lecter so why is it that so many try to type cast him into Lecter's mould. Why do we always remember the evil, ignoring the good. Why must our thoughts so often gravitate towards the gutter? There's a lot more to Anthony Hopkins than Hannibal Lector. |
