Arrow Future war in US

Someone I know (who has a poly sci. degree from USC and has some good contacts) suggests that by 2020 (I think earlier) that China with a consolidated Asian force would invade the US for it's cropland. Speculatively the massive army, 200 million, would enter North America via the northern land bridge. Would this be worth a trv session?

Land Bridge? Last time I looked there was about 50 miles of open water between North America and Asia (Russia). Then there is a thousand miles of wilderness, mountains, rivers all with no roads and then its a minimum 3day drive to America (through Canada, Wake up Mac.) if you drive day and night. An invading army would take months to make the journey even without resistance. I don't think there is any Army anywhere in the world that could invade America unless America just gave up or was devastated by nuclear war, or some kind of catastrophe. Heck, I think even Canada could could stop that invasion. The logistics of invading America makes the probability of success so remote that only a real fool (I mean crazy crazy) would try. The only real fear America has is of nuclear war, terrorists and conquest from within.

I am still sitting in Japan, in the shade of those North Korean soda pop rockets.

they would not get that far- the USA has lotsa technical stuff up there watching what is going on- the first sign of an invasion and the armed forces would respond very fast- and like cheryl has said, the land that they would have to go through- extremely rugged- this is not something that you could just put your jeep into 4 wheel drive and charge- huge mountains, steep gorges, thick impenetrable forests- there is a road, but not one that can handle millions - they would be mired down quickly - I suspect that this is a moot proposition as any invading army would at least have that info about the land that they intend to cross...

Mac.

Talking Why Thank You Mac

Why Mac, thank you for sticking up for me! (:-)) Where is Lavi when you need him. I think The Book of Revelation says that the 200 million man army will attack Israel.
